From October 2015 all Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers of regulated first aid qualifications must hold formal internal quality assurance qualifications or have attended this event. ‘Lay First Aid Instructor’ certificates [including ITC Induction & Instructor certificates] are no longer be recognised by Awarding Bodies.
ITC are running a number of CPD first aid events around the UK to meet these requirements. Skills for Health Assessment Principles
These CPD events support those wishing to deliver regulated first aid training in the UK at their regulated Centres. Including:
*Additional occupational competence requirements to deliver these ITC qualifications.
If Tutors, Assessors and IQAs already meet the stated requirements for ITC qualifications then there is no requirement to attend this event.
