Over the past few years, ITC has worked hard to support initiatives and projects from the Institute for Outdoor Learning, Forest School Association, Council for Learning Outside the Classroom, outdoor professionals and the outdoor sector more widely.
ITC First specialises in supporting professional standards in the outdoor sector and in many cases has directly contributed to the development and maintenance of new or emerging standards.
Some recent projects ITC First have been involved in include:
- Development of the Level 3 Award in Learning Beyond the Classroom
- Review and development of the ITC Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid
- Gaining IOL Accredited Course status for several ITC First qualifications- Providing input and feedback of new outdoor professional standards
- Providing Outdoor First Aid guidance and advice to organisations for their members
