ITC First CEO joins Regional Skills Group to Support Renewable Energy

ITC First's CEO, Mark Moore has recently joined the Energicoast Skills Group, responsible for understanding and responding to the needs of the growing wind energy industry in the North East of England, by reviewing of future skills needs in the sector and coordinating skills pathways with educational institutions and training providers.

ITC First is perfectly situated to assist and support this work.  Over the past several years ITC First has worked with training providers and employers in the wind energy sector to develop new and innovative qualifications and courses such as the successful Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 in Safe Working Practice in the Wind Turbine Industry, which provide fundamental safety skills for those entering the wind energy sector.

The inclusion in the Energicoast Skills Group will allow ITC to further assist and work with local stakeholders and institutions in a more strategic way to support the wind energy sector in our local area.

Mark Moore said "I can't wait to get involved and support the development of the growth of wind energy in our region.  Hopefully we'll be able to develop further new qualifications to help people gain employment in this expanding sector"
