ITC First and Forest School Qualifications

At ITC we support the Forest School movement and the drive to get children, teenagers and adults learning in appropriate environments. Our expertise comes from staff who have been and still are involved in outdoor education, forest school, conservation education and outdoor first aid. Our culture and ethos is embedded within everything we do and it is how we set ourselves apart from the other players in the sector.

ITC First is approved by and meets the requirements of the Forest School Association.
All pre-registered courses appear on and advertised on public course finder
The support of an AO with similar culture, values and ethos to that of Forest School
No membership fee
Dedicated ITC First Facebook Forum, sharing experience, good practice and supporting a network of like minded folk
Access to companion courses and qualifications such as Level 3 in Learning Beyond the Classroom, forest school first aid, food hygiene, manual handling etc.
