External Quality Assurer (First Aid) - Part-time
ITC First is a family run awarding organisation and End Point Assessment organisation specialising in qualifications that support outdoor and remote workers. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated External Quality Assurer to join our team. This permanent position is ideally suited to someone with a training, assessment and quality assurance background.
If successful, you will be a member of the ITC EQA team, visiting and supporting Centres delivering regulated qualifications, primarily first aid and other short qualifications.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- To provide advice, feedback and support to Centre Managers, Internal Quality Assurers and Assessors/Trainers
- To be a representative and embodiment of ITC, its culture, values and ethos
- To externally quality assure the work of Centres by monitoring Centre activity
- To promote and share good practice
- To follow and contribute to ITC’s External Quality Assurance process designed to demonstrate the meeting of minimum standards but importantly to provide access to opportunities for personal and business development
- To attend and contribute to standardisation meetings
- To complete Centre reports
- To monitor action plans
The External Quality Assurer will be a person who:
- Is self-reliant and self-motivated
- Is able to work as part of a small team
- Has excellent communication skills
- Can use IT systems
- Has a flexible approach
- Has professional experience in the education and training sector, evidenced by assessing qualification, IQA qualification and first aid qualifications
- Ideally, located in the South of England

- Part-Time (15hrs/week average)

- This role reports to the ITC Chief Verifier

Full Time Position
Compliance Officer
ITC First is a family run awarding organisation and End Point Assessment organisation specialising in qualifications that support outdoor and remote workers. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated compliance officer to join our team. This permanent position is ideally suited to someone with a compliance or audit background.
If successful, you will be a key member of the ITC team and the central point of contact for ITC’s regulators, responsible for ensuring ITC’s policies, procedures and operations remain compliant and overseeing quality assurance activities. You will also be responsible for ensuring ITC’s End Point Assessment (EPA) systems are effective and compliant.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Main point of contact for ITC’s external regulators
- Responding to compliance queries, flagging and reporting compliance issues
- Interpreting and communicating regulations, guidance and publications from the regulators
- Production of compliance reports, annually, quarterly and ad-hoc
- Development of office regulated procedures
- Responding to requests from external regulators, including audits
- Producing (or assisting to produce) and reviewing reports for a range of other stakeholders and purposes
- Develop and oversee ITC’s End Point Assessment (EPA) activities
- Attend meetings and events organised by regulators and report to the CEO/Policy Review Committee
- Assist with the maintenance and management of ITC qualifications
- Chair the ITC Appeals Committee
- Comprehensive record keeping
- The key point of contact for responding to complaints
- Contributing member of the ITC Policy Committee
The Compliance Officer will be a person who:
- Is positive and self-motivated with a can-do approach to problem solving
- Is able to work as part of a small team
- Is organised, meticulous and capable of working to deadlines,
- Has excellent communication skills
- Can use IT systems in a busy organisation
- Has a flexible approach
- (Desirable) Educated to at least Level 6 (Degree level)
- (Desirable) Has professional experience in the education training sectors

- Location Hartlepool (hybrid working considered)

- Starting Salary £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)
- This role reports to the ITC CEO
